Manuel completed his master‘s degree in Biology at Freie Universität Berlin, where he specialized in Molecular and Cell Biology. He has joined the Dubois Lab as a PhD candidate to investigate how tissue-specific enhancers within high-level genomic amplifications promote oncogene expression in lung cancer. In his free time, Manuel enjoys physical exercise and playing the piano.
